Setting Up the MS Office Toolbar

Adding Entries to MS Office Toolbar

Adding an Entry from Windows Explorer

The fastest way is a little tricky.

  1. Hi-light the entry in windows explorer. This is generally (but not necessarily -- depending on the settings) done with a single mouse click.
  2. Temporarily turn off the auto-hide feature with a left click on the tool bar and toggle the auto-hide feature so it is no longer checked.
  3. Now hold down the control key and while you continue to hold down the control key drag the file to the Microsoft Office Tool bar and drop it.
  4. Restore the auto-hide feature to its original setting (that is, turn it back on).

Adding an Entry from the Windows Desktop

Follow this procedure if you need an entry on the desktop and on the tool bar.

  1. Add the entry to the desktop.
